Graduate Tuition and
Financial Assistance

The Art History Graduate Committee awards teaching assistantships only once a year by April 15th, although in practice these awards are announced earlier. A Teaching Assistant (TA) may serve as either be a discussion section leader for large survey course or teach their own course, depending on their assignment. This award includes a full tuition scholarship and health insurance.

The department also nominates individuals for:
Clifford D. Clark Graduate Fellowships (for under-represented minorities)
Dissertation Year Fellowships

U.S. Citizens may also be eligible for student loans and campus employment. Please contact the Financial Aid Office for further information.
